Dear GRC family,
As you would know, there are churches in our state that have gradually started resuming physical services. Although we miss you and want very much to be able to see all of you in person, we also want to ensure that we can keep everyone safe when we do so.
While the state has started re-opening, we are observing that COVID-19 cases are currently at an all-time high. There has also been a surge in community spread in recent weeks, including the cities where our services are regularly held.
As a leadership, our utmost priority is the safety, well-being, and peace of mind of all who walk through our doors. I have been in prayer and conversation with many of our staff, leaders and key servers during this season and have not arrived at an answer of peace where I can confidently say that it is God’s favorable time for us to resume physical services.
Therefore, we have decided to continue to be patient and seek God’s wisdom as to when we will be resuming in-person services. Please know that this is not a decision that we make lightly. We hear you—those of you who wish to fellowship together in your care groups and at our locations again, as well as those who would prefer to continue meeting online.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will re-evaluate opening the church for in-person meetings when there is a significant decline in community spread. Thank you for believing together with me that at God’s favorable time, there shall be such a supply of grace, peace and ease as we gather together again.
In the meantime, we will continue to keep you updated through email and our Instagram and Facebook pages as we monitor this evolving situation closely.
Beloved, let’s continue to pray that this crisis will come to a swift end in our country, and for ourselves to walk in His wisdom and right-time, right-place blessings in the days to come. Thank you for standing in faith with us. May the Lord continue to be your protection and supply during this time! Love you guys!
